Pitch practice is back! This time with prize money!
The Daveler Institute’s Pitch Practice series gives students and Southwest Florida community members a low-pressure way to test their ideas. Pitch a quick elevator pitch (Level 1) or take five minutes (Level 2), no slides required. The audience scores every pitch, with a $100 prize for the best student pitch and $100 for the best community member pitch at each event. After the pitches, “startup speed dating” lets you sit down with potential customers for honest feedback. The top pitchers across our three Level 1-2 events are invited to the Level 3 Professional Pitch Event on November 30, where the best student and community pitches each win $250. Whether you want to pitch or just watch and vote, everyone is welcome.

• Minute on the Mic (the 60 second pitch) is great practice for your elevator pitch.

• The 5-Minute pitch is where you can go further in your idea, with no presentation.
